In my early career, I cut my journalistic teeth for 6 years at The Courier-Mail/Sunday Mail as a writer then editor for real estate, employment and information technology. I was widely respected as an IT writer and Internet analyst in the sector’s dot com heyday. An article of mine was the first ever article to appear online with The Courier-Mail. #FunFact

I enjoy the idea of writing the odd news or feature article here and there, particularly in the areas of humanities, arts and social sciences, but it hasn’t happened lately. I am also a ridiculously good SEO Content Writer, but I don’t do that anymore.

I’ve maintained this website and blog since 2004. That’s a 20 year achievement in itself I reckon!
