Caught up tonight with Mathiaparanan Abraham Sumanthiran MP, from the Tamil National Alliance, Sri Lanka to learn more about the Tamil situation in Sri Lanka. Suma is a human rights lawyer and member of parliament.

I really appreciated the time he took to meet and share some stories. I was the only woman who attended and was glad to have been there given I was among 7 men, but lovely men at that. 🙂
