I have a Bayside Greens branch meeting this evening, so it seems fitting to post my first post in my new blog today!!

This is really just a test to see if I can figure out this particular brand of blog technology. I kept a campaign blog last year when I ran as a candidate in the federal election, but my subscription to that blog was cancelled without notice, so I’m back to square one.

On that topic, I thought I had actually lost the entire thing but the other day I happened to find it – word for word – on an online government archive. Being a writer and being that the campaign was such a whirlwind journey for me, I was devastated to have lost it all, but now elated to have it all back!

That blog was really special to me so I’m thinking of publishing it on this blog at some point if I can work out a good way to do it.

Anyway, that’s all for now. Let’s see if this works…
